Media has lot of impact on the society so if the media really puts in its efforts to curb corruption from a education point of view how we are going to be benefitted in a society that has no corruption, will really make some impact.

Yes, Strong media can boost anti-corruption efforts, and also it is important to empower the media, enact laws on the right to information and increase in the use of information technology to make governments more transparent. In many countries with the most open media, including India , Philippines and Indonesia, media coverage has helped to create public pressure to tackle corruption.

Interesting insight but unfortunately it is no, media is creating awareness about the corruption and no politician, Government/PSU Official is interested to see this campaign because he is afraid of pain?

I think media cannot do everything..media shows reality...politics ,uneducation, poverty, population are the reason that give rise to corruption..media cant stop stop this corruption..we need educated people to lead our country..its we who are going to curb corruption.

No, but serious constraints still impede the full power of the press to report on corruption, Tackling corruption is not a job of the government alone, The media and individual citizens all need to stay alert, demanding the highest ethical standards and resolving to reject corruption wherever it appears,

There is a difference between dictatorship and democracy. Whatever it might be , the system is bad but no we are not under a rule and no one is ordering us. They are corrupt but they are not dictators...
These are two different issues. There is no point in mixing them up. They might not be willing to remove corruption but the case of temple treasure has nothing to with it.
Yes there is no magic wand but does that mean we should stop working? We need to do something and even small steps will help in long run. It might take long but our aim should be to end it. Thank you Sir for a nice post.
