In a country where buying decisions are taken by males & product differentatation is not enough the only way to help them make impulsive purchase decisions is to capture their weak link - their fondness for lady luck. this being the case modeling for female is the in thing and surly a profession. Its for the individual model to draw their limits. Its a bold profession & the families would be well informed.

I believe no work is a bad work till the time you are within your limits and know your deadlines alongwith have a true love for the dignity of your family. Any such misusages can even be possible in the corporate world also if given adequate opportunities by girls.

modeling is a profession no doubt about it. but it is not good for girls in many aspects. 1. not safe - one has to sacrifice many things in their life which mostly changes their individuality. 2. food - they have be more cautious about their diet. they have lot of food restrictions, which in trun affects their health in the long run. 3. they cannot sustain in this profession after 30/35 years. Of course they can earn more but considering the above it is of no use.

The modeling inudstry is supposed to be a platform for showcasing art and culture, but it ends up in vulgarity and harassment. Many involved in this industry adopt bad habits. For many it's just a means for quick money, others quench their thirst of being in glamor world.

according to the definition :profession is something which follows a defined set of expertise and methodology and skills for eg medical, engineering. modelling is simply a body and flesh show ,nothing more than that.if thought of deeply, girls there only show their bodies and earn money.its no profession at all. people may argue that its a work, but forget where this kind of activity taking human society back to pre-historic age. as far as indian culture says, body is a temple of soul.girl makes a society, figured as a symbol of purity but modelling just opposite. these crimes rates against women going up these days are the result of such activities which are making people sick .

I don't think so. At least for girls, its not a safe profession. Just for the sake of good money, many directors and producers take their advantage in a wrong way. Also, you will be a star till you are young. After 35, your shine declines. Wearing exposing closed in front of huge population is also not ideal for a good family girl. Thats why I feel its not a good profession.
