national media ...great ....some thoughts ..

i can't get out of the haunting sound of that starting sound of DD1 at 5.30 ...

the logo ... ek chidiya .. anek chidiya .. dana chugne ....

the shitra haar ... malgudi days .. the classical stuff of dholka , sitar , ghada , toomba , beena ..

svara yatra of dd1 commentary of cricket matches telecast by it ...

 

O!! DD1 save me from the trash being pured out by the private channals ..

National media covers the happenings countrywide and bears the responsibility to avoid the unnecessary confusions that may spread among the people due to excitement. Other media sources are not so wide spread and have only regional impact that is easy to control. National media is a powerful source to influence tho people all over the country.

Depending on the story or issue, the national media may have a longer time frame to develop a story than a regional or local media outlet. The national media are going to get more pitches and will be working on a wide range of stories at one time.

Definitely no. Regional stories won't make national media unless it has a national or very newsworthy angle.
