Darshana well said. But Bharat your view is not clear to me. But no individual in earth can found without problem. If he have 100 billion he have risk of empoloyee and his life. and coming time and who don't have 100 bucks he have problem. Only one way to come out of problem that is just positive mind thats it.

Yes it does. I can give lot of examples for this. I have a friend who was working for a Big 5 consulting company in Pune who was doing just great in his job however his personal life took a beating because of dead lines etc etc. Fri after returning home we both used to plan a get-together & Sat when I am about to reach his home he used to call me & say "Amit my PM has called me to office urgently let us cancel" & poor soul used to land up spending Sat & Sun also in office, everything used to go for toss this used to happen at least 3 weekends every month because of deadline. These situations are not in our hands either, service industry is this way only, so no point complaining & guys get so much used to it that if they get even 1 weekend to spend time with their family it is like a "dream" & you are just enjoying the "dream" & Monday morning is here. So yes "Corporate life does affect personal life" however like Darshana said it also depends how you balance it if you can do it well you might not feel it.

In this age of stiff competition, high work loads, tight delivery schedules, desire to excel, turn out the best in output Office life has taken priority over domestic life. Today's mantra is "It does not matter what job you do - You have to be the "best" in that". This is ruining domestic life

Yes!,but it depends on prioritization. If we feel corporate life affecting personal life its certainly. But think in reverse ,Is personal life affecting our corporate life? So if we give importance to our personal life, corporate life obviously affects personal life.

Our corporate life is affecting our personal life when we feel injustice from the management, which make us under tension. But, We have to overcome this problem so that our family should not be affected. Progress of our family is most important and for that even changing of job may be considered.

It all depends upon the organisation; sometimes its excessive demands on the individual managers make them to spend most of their time to meet the demands on the job. So much so work is carried home and even essential personal commitments are neglected'

Yes, it depends upon the involvment in corporate life because corporate life is stiff competition and target oriented hence people indulged in the corporate area require more independence and therefore isolation is being created in personal life...

There should be proper balance in life. When you are at home, forget the office tension. But when work demands you, you have to sacrifice some time to get task completed. If you are not working well,it is not helping your family either.

While I do believe that stars play an important role in one's well being, there are times when an individuals personal ambitions become so over bearing that everything else becomes secondary. The first casualty in such cases is the personal life.It does not matter which field one is in. Corporate or otherwise. Thanx for the invite. Warm regards

Dear Ms Darshana, I agree with your openion. When I join my company some years back, I dont know how to balance work and home. But now I have learnt how to. Though I have piled up lot of jobs with me, I know how this can be done. Put a diary, mark without missing, plan the program etc..
