To some extent yes ! Its the pulls and pressures of a coalition that makes them that way. Plus there are no clear laws or lot of outdated ones that gives them the courage to be corrupt. Coupled with a silent population that is busy with their own lives to worry about the government !

I'm not privy to what happens around me, I'm not supposed to highlight, "that's my Dharma" and "Coalition Dharma" - Media should turn blind eye to what they see, what they hear, yet promote our deep-rooted value system, project to the world what is the brighter side of it, don't project any thing that happens after the sun set! Media shouldn't for the sake of this country's image throw light on darker side of it! Every kid in this country is aware of this colossal scam-ridden face of this country, instead of talking about cleansing the system, the PM gives lecture on "Dharma"! In Mahabharat, "Bhishm acharya and Dhronacharya" were not spared for being in the side of unrighteous people! People have not elected him to be the PM - what was the compulsion to be there with the unrighteous people! I don't know, if not here, he is answerable to all that happens around him elsewhere!

There are many countries in this world which got independence after us. They have grown and developed. Our economic growth rate is great. But, who would enjoy it if the population growth rate is running at a higher pace??? The per capita will be low as usual. We are growing ( developing) and we will be developing forever if the present scenario continues. We are secular, democratic, republic of India just for name sake. Still there is king's or queen's rule in our country. Their legacy is ruling us for decades. Look at our states. Our leaders are Ex leader's relatives, actors, gundas, illiterates, puppets or any X & Y who has few bucks to shell out. We vote them for few bucks and to avert their threats and they sell themselves for a similar bigger dimension. I am wondering where we are ??????

Therot are many countries which got independence after us. Now, they are developed. But, we are growing (developing) and will be developing forever if the government is not changed. We call it democratic. But, it is quite similar to King's or Queen's rule. The same legacy is taking care of the country for name sake. Even if you look at different states, see who we have chosen as our leaders - gundas, actors, illiterates, puppets.... They don't have any qualification to run the country. Still, we are helpless, we vote them for few and they sell themselves for few more bucks. Where we are ????????????

Dear Ayan, Except Economy you have failed to mention anything more in your argument. With such large consumption base it is the size and not quality in economy that favors us you may discover. With Rich getting richer and number of poor increasing everyday you need to recheck stats. The manufacturing being at lowest, the only people getting better being the middlemen neither farmers, producers or manufacturers is not any sign of healthy economics. Prices spiraling daily, infrastructure fairing poorly and to top the scams with no one acting at requisite speed if you still feel,so it is at best a choice. In fact your are being soft in giving choice between "To some extent and NO" as the regularity of scams suggests to.......a totality.

The Govt is a lameduck and does not have the strength not only to handle corruption but also any type of incusion from other countries. The Govt under the Leadership of Dr. MS does not have the Gutts to call a spade a Spade. It shows learned cannot display the Leadership skills. When the CVC is corrupt, CJI is having illegal wealth cases, Minsters are just grabing money and Cannot disclose and take action on Black Money in Swiss Govt. Shall we say Good ! Politics is the last path of a schoundral, and PM has mandated it.

I fully support you. The government is by the people and people support/vote that person who is active. The so called good people are not active and passive mongers of the situation. They will not enter to this field until the system hurts them seriously. In this situation nothing better can be accepted. In my opinion, we are in golden age of the entire era that I know. in order to stay in heaven, we have to create the same and we can do it. Just we need involve in the system.
