Is our planet really on the verge of destruction?

It was said some time ago that the Earth will be destryed very soon i.e, by 2012 or somebody said by 2015 or even 2020.

Anyways we have continued with deforestation,underground water exploitation, polution and the last come RACISM, what else do we require to prove the assumption or astrology of somebody, do we?

Lets give a second thought at what wrong has already been done and what can still be controlled for some more years to live.

I think we are destroying it by slow poison. It may take many years.but 2012....2015...3000.. these all all human short sight guesses.

We cant even predict tsunami/earth quake.How are we to predict total destruction?

We are not capable of that,we are capable of Systematic deliberate destruction which is current trend.

Any thing beyond that is just figment of fertile idle minds imagination

Yes! plenty of destructive resources are available on earth, if any of those strikes with its potent EARTH....GONE BY

Nuclear arsenal, Highely disturbed environment, disintegrated social structure, careless human needs.... rising robotics.... etc

We should be possitive. Several threats are there but the ray of hope is still there. We can save our planet by rethinking on our selfish life style. Nature giving us alot but we are returning only polution, unplanned developement, exploitation of natural resources without  any thought of sustainability. So if we still have time to rethink and save the planet earth.
