yes, deffinately the work culture is getting westernised.....the dresscode, the language and the behaviour in which the employee are asked to behave are the prove to it.But my dear friends I get confused why the need for western culture in the workplace when our culture and traditions are so rich and respectful?

I am going with 'yes' as the phrase means under influence.Though i agree with Janki Ram, but best part of Western Culture is its accessibility.

My opinion about this topic is yes ,it is mostly found in IT & ITES.new generation is trying to adapt the western work culture fully..we do have to study a lot of things from them. But when it comes to India we have lot of peoples ,lot of languages lot of culture, beyond all of that barriers ,in the bottomline we people must have to keep this rich culture of values relationships and every good things that our ancestors left for us .So hold our hands together working for India with our unique culture don't try to make our country a copy of America.India is too rich in talents like us, we can, yes we can... empower our nation as a superpower with our unique attitude ...

No. We are just getting influenced (rather tempted) by what the media try to sell as western culture. We wear US looks but shy off wearing a smile to stangers. On a positive note, we are getting towards a global culture contributed more by open socities like US, UK, India and less by the conservative ones like Japan.

No, i would like to share that whatever you select, you will find both advantage and disadvantage. Its depend on you how will you perceive. Our perception is becoming negative towards western culture. Even if you will go other country, they have also accept, behave etc Indian culture. So why are we thinking negative side. I agree that due to western culture, it is effecting to young, children. But today's young, children are think differently and positively.

Hi I would like to share with you result of a survey which I undertook last year. This was conducted over 87 professional women including every level of management. It proved that they are more adaptable more goal oriented and hence more successful. However more then half of them who were directly interviewed reported some kind of harassment by their male counterpart.

We retain our culture in all our activities. Only, the delivery & style is refined , so that, we remain a best competitor to others. It may be outwardly looking as westernised.
