Let us view this debate from point of view of nations' growth curve when it comes to either sociology or Industry growth.

No one jumps to last step without paying their dues to the first, second and the rest.

Outsourcing has been a stepping stone for Indian IT Industry to create a beachhead in the world of high tech Industry.


Industry acquired knowledge, processes, people, customers and more importantly credibility in the world market. 


Nevertheless, now is the time we grow out of labour arbitrage & step into real big boys club for creating IP driven sustainable advantage or our firms and country.

Obviously ....we have turned this nation in to a nation of service providers. Outsource is one of the major pillars keeping this economy afloat.

If one adopts the commercial attitude we got to keep outsourcing alive. But to become a player in the world who dictates trends than play them a very different option is required. Out sourcing is in demand. We are catering/exploiting a demand. Since it brings in foreign exchange....it is good for us.

Yes I like outsourcing because it provides benefit for both, service provider as well as service taker but the country where the service takers are situated is not benefited. Their resources are going to service provider country.  Because India is always a service provider country so it is benefited.
