Of course Pakistan is struggling for its survival. Day by day, the Taliban forces are progressing and Pakistan army can be seemed to be incapable of stopping them. Their are internal problems in the government also which is showing a threat of Pakistan's division in 3-4 part. In this condition, anybody can easily say, Pakistan is standing on the edge of a sword.

I agree with Mr.Balaji.Pakistan is just a failed state right now and it needs a strong restructuring in every aspect to avoid going downhill further. There should be a leader who is accountable for the actions that are happening in the country and should be determined to improve the condition of the country.

Pakistan is indeed fighting for its survival..... as we know there is no control of the Pak Government on the people and Pak Army.......... and Pak Army is supporting the Talibans and giving shelter to all the terrorists. Pakistan is being broken into pieces due to corruption, politics and recession.

Pakistan has always tried to sow the seeds of terrorism in other countries, little did they know that the harvest will have to reaped in their own. What is more alarming is that if by chance taliban take over karachi and hold pakistan for ransom and their military buckles and supposing the nukes go into wrong hands then the world will be at stake coz these talibans are radicals and religious frenzy.

it's too early to call pakistan a failed state. thou its showing such signs. the next 10 -20years would be crucial for Pakistan. it cant stop with taliban. it needs to weed out terrorism of all shades and colors. it cant be that A is terrorist and B is freedom fighter. Pakistan is able to fight it out and strengthen its democratic institutions, it will be new begining or else..

this is a very big question, establishments of a country depends on its several social, demographic and political situations, despite of the facts of its uncertain political religious conditions, at social level it exists as a country,.... also lets not include isreal in it.....

Who isn’t? Let me share the Paki survival stunt, how it is perceived in other Muslim countries- In Malaysia the Suicide bombers are termed as “Beranani Mati” which is a heroic connotation given for an act of Valour and courage. So the traits of Talibanism, Alkaidism- which is to create terror and kill the so called “Kafirs”, is getting appreciated and the act also is been duly applauded. Pakistan by portraying the SWAT Valley issue, it has received $ 110 million USD and further the current US congress is contemplating to increase the aid value to $200 million USD. Do you think that this aid which Pakistan would receive will go for humanitarian purpose?

No pakistan are not fighting for their survival because if they do then the terrorist attacks which are happening everyday at any time or place would not have been happening. And if people of pakistan really want this to end then they should immediately raise their voice and force their government to take some strict and positive action and do not surrender to terrorist's demands.
what do you say?

no they are not doing anything for that matter, they just want to remain idle, and do nothing with all that terrorism that is happening there, one really can't understand how people are living there, with so much at stake for their lives, i guess they are used to it...if people are not standing up against these nothing will happen, the taliban will completely takeover pakistan and they can't really do anything about it, so either some miracle should happen in pakistan or else pakistan is history....
