Is Politics-Business nexus a main culprit behind corruption in India?

Mere khayal se na sirf INDIA me balki sari duniya me jo kuch galat hota hai jo kuch bhi bora hota hai saab ke zimmedar yeh politions hi hote hain.

Yes, it is, the business class have earned the dubious distinction of funding the politicians. Due to this reason, they care too hoots about the MEASLY salary that they earn and hence take the whole country and their for granted. As a result, they run the offices as they like in the most corrupt manner. This the reason for all the corruption in the system.

In fact whenever any raid takes place or prior to the raid,all businessmen first think of help is their near and dear politician,who intervenes to sort out amicably,this is because,all politicians will have accepted financial favours and further ensures for their next financial needs.This is common factors in all big and small businessmen and politicians.This is generally known to all people but can do nothing to stop politics-busines nexues in the society.I agree with Sasi's point of view.

Its become so obvious that now we are starting to internalise it, soon we will get used to it as we do with a lot of things that are not right in India

If the truth ever came out about the unholy nexus which is keeping some of the best projects on the back burner so that a FEW pockets may be lined, the country will probably go up in flames.

Yes, the business-politics nexus does promotes corruption to a large extent, businesses being the fund generator tries to drive everything to their advantage by sheer money power. For politicians looking to get rich this comes as an opportunity and by this age they have become master exploiters of any such opportunity.

It is all about relation between Political business and Industrial politics. The modern society only considers the winner as Hero and not the method he followed to win the political game. Therefore, the massage helps to go for all unethical practices in all the fields to reach to the goal. Think of a society when all will go for wrong practices to win and gain, than what will happen to my nation.

Both these sectors run on give and take policy.business people pour money on politicians either to get lisence  or to get land approvals,so they encourage curroption,and politicians need % in the business so they encurage businees people to do so

Running political parties is just the face of corruption. It is amassing personal wealth that is at the core of this - and what better way than being a poitician?

Corruption in India is rampant - self serviing, self-propogating and indestructible. It embraces all and protects it own. And we bring these people to power again and again! Why blame businessmen? Do they have a choice if they wish to just stay in business - let alone grow?

POLITICIANS WITH THEIR QUEST TO RETAIN POWER,AMASS WEALTH SEEK THE SUPPORT OF BUSINESS MEN,INDUSTRIALISTS ETC.THEY HAVE TO RECIPROCATE BY EXTENDING FAVOURS TO RETAIN THEIR POST.AND THOSE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED FOR VARIOUS PEOPLE ON VARIOUS HEADS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION WHICH IS THE ONLY PURPOSE FOR WHICH THEY PART WITH THEIR MONEY.

I agrre with Sasi on this. Incase there is no givers then there is no takers. So as far as possible any ordinary man will desist from offering bribe unless the work will not be done.

In all other cases it is the nexus of politicians and businessman where in money change hands through some body eles. So both apparently invincible at first sight. There are huge number of such cases. Less said the better.

"Might is right" is old saying and also big fish swallows small ones.No complicated mathematics require to prove the nexus.

YES. It is the present form of politics - the so called Democracy which is Kleptocracy in another name that is the culprit. The nexus between the vested interests is what is resulting in the present form of lop sided policies and large scale corruption, where by the rich are growing richer and the poor are growing poorer. yes,, Do you think, there can be anyother reason besides this? ITs always Top Down way.Starts at the top & reaches at bottom. Take any case, Top of the pyramid is corrupt by X%, bottom of pyramid is corrupt by atleast 5X% this is how.

Hello Sasi, You are right. To Stop this people should elect educated people. Also government should simplify the rules. Further movement of materials and commodities, government should collect uniform tax. To certain extent this will reduce the corruption.

It is not exactly the nexus between only these Two, but the cronyism among politicians, business & mafia.

I think yes. Industrialists are the main fund generators for politicians. They make things turn in their way just by money power. Because of this, more and more politicians try to increase relationship with politicians just to grab more money only because they want to become richer that other political parties failing which they target the common man for bribe.
