Those students who have very less exposure to the professional world is getting an opportunity thru the project. They are getting an opportunity to apply the various theories they have studied. They are being given a chance to perform in an organisation without the complete responsibility of doing so. The project trainees are given a platform to show their metal. If they are good enough, the organisation may absorb them, providing them a very good opportunity. The Organisations are getting new ideas, innovative practices, updation of their theoretical knowledge etc.

I agree with Taniya.  There are many projects available in the market and on internet. Try to do one on you own. It enhance your knowledge. Do not under estimate your future recruiters who can decided whether it is you own or fabricated. They are experienced.

No only when you buy a project it costs you money. Try to do projects, which will help you grow. Especially MBA projects are about collecting data and driving a conclusion it will not cost you much. So projects are mandatory....
