The way he is moving, he will be a great politician, it may take few more years. Becoming a great Politician of India is not an easy task. He has many plus points like he belongs to Nehru Parivar, he is young, energetic, good personality, young generation likes him, positive actions & thoughts. Becoming a great politician min thirty yrs of efforts required, we can check with our all great politicians they all become great after the age of fifty.

Not yet a great politician but a budding politician. I think his aura will remain till he takes any ministerial responsibility. The best thing for him would be, like his mother, he should remain away from governance and stick to organisational matters of the Congress Party and continue to be the king or queen maker.

me and My family used to support BJP since 1970's but the moment Rahul Gandhi jumped into politics arena, he changed the face of politics again(after his father). Rahul Gandhi is a great leader, sensible man with good approach, intelligent Man (Like Rajiv G) and a very good human being. and i feel this is all what every one expect from their leaders.I never saw a politician praises opposition party leader....but rahul did that. Its a great quality to accept mistakes and at the same time praise others achievements too. (Rahul praise Nitish efforts before bihar elections in 2009, and we can see he was right....nitish really did a great job for bihar). Party doesn't matter for Public...Work matters!

As per my openion they have to improve more. No doubt he belongs to Gandhi family but it is not thier capablity of a great politician however they have to know more about India and mass indian people and thier expectation to any goverment. As per my openion of Rahul gandhi , He is an iconic face not a real Leadership quality. Only delever AC Type politics

Rahul Gandhi may be the best of a person as individual, yet....... The subject question simply bares the naked truth of democracy as practiced in India. Is there any shortage of sycophants within his party that we have to pitch in to discuss. Is it inheritance of power? or democracy, and if not, allow him to prove himself and let him come up through the steps any other person may have to tread. Thanks for invite Arrikrishna and Namrata.

Time and again a major percentage of discussions in this form are around Rahul Gandhi. I dont understand the rationale for these discussions. We are attaching undue importance to this subject I believe. Whatever his credibility is,if Congress could win the next elections, he is going to be the PM, whether you accept him or not, its immaterial for the party. Thats the kind of democracy we have.

Now a days the trends in politics shows that it becomes 100% commercial where the politicians make money only through forming themselves a network and everybody is having their share according to the percentage decided. Under the circumstances what R.G can do? and further he is in the learning process of politics and it will take sometime to understand things or may be knowingly he is unable to do anything as he is one among the giants in politics. i would like to refer the quote from Bernadshaw which reads as ' POLITICS IS THE LAST RESORT OF SCOUNDRELS' Thanks for the referral Mr. Manoj Kumar.

He is just creating the scenes for popularity. After all what is his qualification for becoming a politician? Is is because he is from Nehru/ Gandhi family? What are his other qualifications?

Manoj I ditto your observations. At the same time I think Rahul is learning the tricks of the trade in order to become a full fledge politician in future probably minus corruption.
