Whether the change in the logo or product feature or service is simple or not is not the question but you attract people or not is the question, what is the difference at the core value that is being offered and how best the new dimension we are showing represents the core change in service or logo or product feature counts a lot.

With the busy schedules, where nobody has the time to give attention to what one wants to communicate to them it is wise to KISS i.e. Keep It Short & Simple which is easy to understand as well as not requires much time to catch the attention of the consumers.

Is simplicity the marketing mantra today? No it is true in Advertising but Marketing is not the same as Advertising. Advertising is one of the results of Marketing efforts when applied to get the message out to the prospects you are trying to help them make good decisions. Marketing is the strategy behind Advertising. You can also tell if Marketing has been done right by the Advertising it generates and the results it delivers.

No, Simplicity alone does not create differentiation in this age of neck to neck competition. However, simplicity helps in communicating your motto in easy manner but now a days due to fierce competition one can not sit around on simplicity. more than simplicity personalization of products helps a lot.

no creativity is the marketing maNTRA....BRINGING SOMETING NEW EVERYTIME AND INCREASING THE CUSTOMER ATTENTION AND LIFESTYLE. THE Vodaphone 's zoozoo's concept was extremely a creative and was a good marketing tool to gain more awareness, brand recall, etc through zoozoo's hampers!!! simplicity has some effect bt chances of loosing the market is highest!!!!

One thing I would like to throw light on is; advertising or a demo which is just one part of promotions is not all what marketing means. If you think of all the 4p's (some could talk abt 5 or 7p’s that’s not the point of debate) of marketing and todays competitive market, introducing your product, acquiring the market share, achieving the volume targets in any vertical or segment, is not simple. Think of new product or sales which ultimately bring in business for the company, think of situations behind the screen, do or die situation in the market, everybody should agree that it hardly requires simplicity!!

Now a days the customer has access to various channels of information including internet the customer so many genuine questions about the product and its working and if the customer is serious in making a purchase he would like all his doubts cleared and all his queries answered then only then he will make the purchase. If a simple explanation is given to such a person he will consider that the salesman does not know much about his product.

I agree. it is easy to market for your client when your solutions are effective and measurable in the short term with sales results. Concepts and ideas are different and do require a variety of planned strategies prior to implementation and media delivery or platform selection in our digital age. Remember that most people don't know the difference between marketing and advertising.
