I don't think social medias can replace education. The same professionalism and attitude we acquire through the current strategy can't be even dreamt about. There are alternate ways to get educated like the libraries. But why not people focusing that?

I also support for the query that social media can be a future of education. Social medias are the cheapest, best and reliable forms of gaining knowledge. In future, most of them rely on social medias for educating their children. School level education being on the costlier side, there is no doubt that these medias take over the next level of education as well. Moreover, social medias also helps in accessing, searching, manipulating, analyzing, storing, reflecting, presenting and sharing of datas.

I think social medias are of course a future of education. Social medias can work in groups, not only to explore an established canon, but also to negotiate what qualifies as knowledge. Social medias can also construct a model of education flexible enough for the way of knowledge develops and changes today by producing a map of contextual knowledge.

It can be PART of the future education systems, not a substitute. social media is a tool, just like a library is resource for learning.

Social media may become the future of search(to the maximum ) but doesnt have the capabilities of replacing the base of education system, that too in the quality way!
