yes,as per my opinion.we seldom meet and talk face to face, technology is bringing "artificial bond of love" by its virtual connections.besides this technology affects the body by its side effects, excluding the advantages.

Yes absolutely,i agree with this point of "smile and smileys".Technology is giving so much to us but we are moving away from our beloved ones.I don't remember the last day i spent time with my friends.Just office, office and office. We are having all means money, incentives, facilities but no time for even us.Even girl-friends are angry for not giving them time.

we usually reject people we know, and want to have relation with someone who are faraway since its possible to maintain a good image with those who have live far from us. So i feel its very important to have good relation who is very near by us. and for that There is no requirement of Technology. all do you require is good heart.

When inter personal relationships required more effort, a commitment was born in the relationship. Now, with all the access, tools etc, it is as easy to walk in to a relationship as it is to walk out. Yes we have lost many things along the way....may be 2 of the most important are the ability to be genuine and a strong sense of commitment.

No, Technology is just a medium or tool. How it is used and how much, makes the big difference. So is money, just a resource anyone who converts it into goal gets in danger of loosing several other aspects of life. It is balance that holds the key Thanks for invite, Darshana.

Technological advancements have brought the world closer. With neumerous new avenues opened through scientific advances the opportunities are unlimited. The constraint is TIME which is fixed 24 hours a day. Hence to accomplish the most one has to make short-cuts to keep connected. Therefore the use of abbreviations in e-mails/communication has become common and is taken for granted. With the speed in communication and Transportation people are able to come closer and together much more than ever before. Expressions and emotions can now be exchanged instantaneously through mobiles & inter-net. People are withdrawing from others not because of Technological advancements but because of an inferiority complex which arises due to an inherent fear of being left behind their counter-parts in society. The rat race in today's world has resulted in isolation of persons in the new social order.

Technology brings your life more closer to friends and relatives. Do not you see it in mobile use, social net working, e-mailing. Otherwise a week or month to wait a letter from far distant or a call to telephone office to send a tele- message. Do not you see that you are receiving money at any moment from any corners or buying things from any part of the world. Do not you see the remote operation conducted through online / conferencing through web cam. Shortening the script does not say that technology deprives of the humananity that you are blessed with. It is you to decide how you are going to use it for the people. Not the technology that drives you.

If we are ready to accept changes then Technology will not affect the smile. But it is indeed due to the new technology we are able to maintain relationship with people with smile.

Yes. I support Dipika. if there is no such technology, we weren't here to dicuss this topic .. open debate and all. even though we are using smileys those we were just expressing our feelings in a text format only. even though we are tech guys at home, our behavioyr is completely different at home..isn't it..? effection, love towards our familymembers/loved ones never change right.. we can express such touchable feelings using video chat, mobile/audio chat.. many ways to express our feelings in todays tech world.. even a musical greeting or sharing a touchable song can express our feeling accurately.. isn't it? Yes i also agree when we are expressing any feelings in text format, the touch is missing.but we need to decide how we are sharing such respective feeling.. but when ever we require that touch, we won't use text expressions..isn't it? :)

It has really bringing us together, just 2 decade back, once people come out of the college and step into the career path, they had no option of keep staying in touch with there friends, but today it doesn't matter where you are in the world, you can always stay in contact with your loved once , that is the edge technology has given us, if it wont be there, we won't even debating this subject here on Toostep. Thanks Anantha
