Countries like US , Australia, UK telemarketing is not welcome and considered as a nuisance & way for fraud. And made legislation to control this. So, do we can follow. Otherwise, telemarketing via web conference/ TV telecast may be worthwhile for business. But, personal call , is not at all liked by many. So, does not produce expected results in performance.

I have a mixed opinion here. A NO for the receiver and a YES for the caller.

Well it depends on your services/product you provide. Nowadays online marketing are more effective way than using age old method of Tele calling, but still its good when you need to recruit people that industry is still surviving on telecalling mostly.

Tele calling is a skill not an annoyance; it’s a very effective way to reach out, provided the caller has the voice and the appropriate etiquette according to geographical region. As any human capability can be abused so can tele – calling. Regarding email I read and reply to junk mail too, the interesting thing the junk mailers are so muddle head that they do not comprehend, even if it’s from MBA institutes, it’s easy to block any dam thing, I search for Intelligence as stupid’s are stupid’s. Thank you Sujatha.

Telecalling is really a better option and economical too. It plays major role in lead generation, revenue, etc. This is an effective tool if properly used.

it may be good for the telecaller but it is disturbing for the called as they do not have the timings when the called would be free and annoying at times add to this they get the numbers from various sources including your mobile operator at a cost so they will disturb the called to offset their cost of getting the list.

Tele calling is very effective if used properly, else turns out to be embarrassing. Bulk e-mails have very less success ration compared to tele calling. If both are used in combination, can turn out to be great sales tool.
