Frankly! Nobody including Team Anna was serious about it. It was best example of where our society and polity stands today. Nobody is ready to shoulder the burden of work but ever ready to point fingers in full media glare.

There are thousands of Laws, Enactments, etc which are not enforced or people concerned are not ready to enforce it.I am of the view the so called Lokpal bill will also be one of them.

Absolutley not. it is at best a weak attempt to dilute the original provisions and safeguard further the wrong doings of the politicians and their govt. servants. Worst is the protection given to govt. servants of all classes to save them by their political masters. Such a lokpal bill will have no effect !

As long as Lokpal is controlled by the ruling party, it will become one more weapon to that party to act against its opponent. Lokpal dont have its own investigation division, it has to depend on CBI which is controlled by the ruling party. Lokpal system will be success only when Lokpal is autonous body, commite members should have clean history and CBI is compleatly under control of Lokpal. I wish oneday I will witness such a Lokpal system.

It is totally a political gimmick and it is beneficial for the politicians themselves only. It will not bring any change to the common people of the country.
