The present cricket team of india is considered as the best team even in the history of india cricket because they have defeated the top most teams of the world including australia,new zealand,srilanka and england and every format.they have also won the T-20 world cup. But i have a question that is this team have the potential to win the coming world cup.

Every team for that matter has a potential to win the World Cup 2011! Its a question of the composition of the team they play every tournament; injury list should not haunt them; should not get enamoured by the local crowd; toss, condition of the pitch (entire responsibility of the curators), weather conditions, and the physical, mental and psychological condition of every player! We have a great expectations from the favourable cricketers, which at times go against the good performer. They should be allowed to play natural game, rather than putting heavy weight on their shoulders!

This time India has got a great chance of winning the World Cup as the World Cup is once again taking place in India and the bulk of the matches will be played in India.The Team India can always take advantage of home conditions is going to be the last World Cup of Sachin Tendulkar & he would like to bid farewell to International Cricket with a World Cup in his kitty as it is the only thing missing in his long illustrious career.it will undoubtedly be a formidable combination and if this full strength Indian team plays up to its potential keeping their nerves before the home ground there is no reason why India can't win this World Cup.

Yes, but I doubt if the Indians will make it to the final. I give Sri Lanka a better chance as they are a more balanced team and play five of their seven league matches at home. My pick of Top Four is; Sri Lanka, South Africa, England, India. I discount three major teams Australia, Pakistan and West Indies.
