The Supreme Court pulled up Mayawati government of the land acquisition policy of Uttar Pradesh, and driving out poor people from the state.The Supreme Court ruled that the Uttar Pradesh government's land acquisition policy is anti-people and a sinister campaign.The court also said that the state is driving out poor people for building malls.

The Supreme court's intervention in UP is commendable but what about other states which may be suffering from the same? It may be that the other states have not come in limelight because the development work has not taken such a pace comparing to UP. Again the role of authority which acts as a mediator in these deals is suspicious. This could be the case in most of the states so i feel there is a need to review the land acquistion policy in all the states or wherever applicable.

Yes , land acquisition made for public purpose is intelligently used for benefit of some big companies ultimately for commercial benefit of some selective people and government cheats the poor farmer by taking their land at throw away price.
