hi, Inajeet  these are only few institutes  , however by looking at the  amount of  power needed ,we need to motivate young aspiring students to come into this field and solve the problem by giving some inputs,  for that we needto have a right platform  by building more number of  schools on training and development  for this  power sector, In a World Bank Report (1999), it has been estimated that only about 50-60% of the electricity generated in India is actually metered at the consumers’ end. The rest goes as T&D losses, un-metered supplies and theft (by unauthorized tapping and tampering of
meters).
