The sakala janula samme is going on for more than 20days bringing life to almost to a stand still. The MLA's and MP's,Ministers of the party in power are also taking part in this general strike. The people who have taken oath to uphold the constitution, law and order are violating their oath. The public is held to ransom. There is no action on the part of the State and Central Governments, where the same party is in power to salvage the situation but it is being allowed to continue in the name of consultations with no time bound action. If the same thing happens in any other state where an opposition party is in power, by this time president's rule would have been imposed.

Yes for once the government is showing signs of getting back to business but not the average citizen. Just like the Annna movement in Delhi. Just shows how such emotional movement can paralyze the state.

Raoji, I agree with you partially. The Govt at the state held discussions with employee organisation (not with TJAC) and ensured that the Govt machinery is back to normalcy. KCR after meeting PM at Delhi told reporters that "he sought festival advance to Govt employees, who are on strike". That is kind of people leading agitations and holding everybody to ransom. President's Rule is not the solution.
