India have rich and wide culture. The roots of Indian cultures have been nurturing since long by the great philosophers, Gurus, thinkers, etc. Unfortunately, the new generation could not be made understand with this rich tradition and culture. Besides the new technology developed in the Western Countries and in order to compete with this rapidly changing technology we must know about the language in which new technology have been developed. Gradually, the Western languages brought western thoughts alongwith. We should not refrain to adopt good thinks from western culture but indiscriminate follow-up of western culture will create many social disorders and curb established social values. We must develop our society by adopting good and morale values of western side but we should not forget our rich and versatile culture. The development come on the cost of culture and tradition will not survive for ever.

According to me as sudhakar sir said we can understand what is western culture but we should not give up our own culture.becoz that will conserve our identity.

Well Janki, when culture is debated anywhere it always the identity of social living & values.....there is no need to unduly put some revised classifictions.....today whole is struggling for identity conservation...

Dear sir, in this world of change, speed is constant. Technology changing, ideology changing, mode of communication changing,Change is everywhere and inevietable..and we have to take that in stride. Nagpur is no more known for oranges, Kashmir no more for apples. There is no west, no east. It's all about a community called..globe al village. Gahdhian thoughts on rise in west..donot forget.

Neeraj westernisation in terms of what? Clothes and culture?? Or work culture?? Whatever you may say every person will have his own choice the Indian culture has strong roots and nothing can change this fact.
