In Karnataka state assembly, on Wednesday, proceedings were disrupted for the third day with the Opposition insisting on a CBI probe into illegal mining and the Chief Minister rejecting the demand once again. Congress and Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) have spent the second straight night in the Assembly to press for their demand of a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe.

They did everything to stop the proceedings of the assembly. They even slept in the assembly which forced the Speaker K G Bopaiah to stop the proceedings. Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said the Lokayukta was already probing allegations of illegal mining since 2002-03 and has "full powers" to conduct its investigation and he has written a letter to the Prime Minister for banning (iron ore) exports.

So users, Is this the right way to oppose by sleeping in assembly?

This is a very Childish way of opposition. A man held guilty and a victim under the eye of the law just cannot hold a responsible post in the state controls. Let the probe take place, and if the Reddy brothers are held guilty- then ofcourse they would have to vacate the seat. Till then- one should have the patience to wait for the decision and the outcome rather than indulging in sleeping in the assembly, eating there as if it is a restaurant, and doing all sort of tamasha's

The opposition- does not it have a responsibilty to the people those selected them??

If yes- than this is not for what the people have selected them!!
