yes i think watching TV is wasting of time, its not only because i am not interested in watching TV but TV is not giving anything that can be useful to a person. because human mind is master to getting bad things and i know very well that tv is more able to provide bad things than good things...

absolutely no, watching some programs wills surely develop your inner skills for example a person who don't know hindi can learn it by watching hindi programs and can speak it effectively.Every invention will have its own defaults . It depends upon the user the way he utilities it .It also keeps us in touch with the modern world and tells us what happening around us

Just watch the TV for news headlines, some important news, and switch off, before getting attracted to any other programme. Because, once you involve in some programme, won't know, how much time wasted. I do exactly this.

yeah watching tv is almost wastage of time. though it gives us some information like news or other know hows in different parts of the world.. but it costs us a lot as in terms of time; which we could use in many other creative ways and at least train our brains to think smartly and effectively.

Depends solely on the individual perspective and choice. If a student watches the daily soap, it's a sheer waste on the contrary if he has to get his career designed in serial making or film making, he is on the right track. If a student watches News items, debates, Discovery or national geographic, he will enrich himself with a vast exposure as well as knowledge too. If a person watches the movies he can't afford at the movie halls then it is budget friendly for him. Many examples can be sighted here just think positiveness and that TV is great stuff.

COUCH POTATOES HAVE TO BE QUITE SELECTIVE WHILE CHOOSING TV PROGRAMMES, BECAUSE ALL PROGRAMMES ARE NOT WORTH WATCHABLE, EVEN IF YOU WATCH ALL THOSE MAY NOT HAVE A CONTENT FROM WHICH WE CAN LEARN ANYTHING. 

ALWAYS MAKE A CHOICE TO WATCH PROGRAMMES ON CHANNELS LIKE ANIMALS PLANET, DISCOVERY, NDTV GOOD TIMES ETC.

IF IN CASE, YOU ARE FED UP OF THE ABOVE CHOICES THEN  YOU CAN GO FOR MTV MUSIC, B4U MUSIC WHERE YOU CAN WATCH MANY BOLLYWOOD NUMBERS OF YOUR CHOICE.

tv gives us entertainment,news,sports, discovery,geo etc channel.this means we got more knowledge automatically in every field.you can say basically tv all programs gives us full energy ,but it depends how much people and which type of serial they seems.

Where do u think most of the kids now spend most of their time. It is Television giving them vision of whole world through a small box placed in their living rooms. Television has actually now become reflection of society. U can't get that much exposure through any other media, that u get through television. Every invention has negative side, it is in our hands that we use it in good ways

sometimes yes and sometimes wrong.watching worthy programs as s.balu sir said is good as it charges us up but watching programs as daily soaps which are full of tension all the time is not good.

TV helps you to know everything happening around you and ofcourse it will have both good and bad things. If you are not watching TV you will not be aware of many things. There are many good channels which gives you general knowledge and know many things.....

So watch TV and grow !!!
