Is Windows 7 design, a copy of Mac OS?

Friends, Windows 7 has been accused of copying the designs, looks and feel from Mac OS X, by a Microsoft employee who was not involved in any aspect of designing Windows 7.

He says, the most visible interface element in Windows 7 is a revised task bar, which lets users 'pin' applications in place, in effect recreating the Dock from Mac OS X. A new Aero Peek feature replicates Dock Expose, showing previews of the content in running apps before they resize. Windows as a whole has been cosmetically enhanced, in some cases evoking touches familiar to Leopard users.

So, do you think Windows 7 really is a copy of Mac OS?

U are right and we may have to wait at least 6 months to see the real outcomes. once people start using they will know what is what.

ya its a copy of vista and working like XP ..

and somany computer users havent seen mac OS desktop even, may be windows 7 is more graphical like mac but its very stable and if copied also whats rong they have improved gharhics and maintained stability so no need to think about it..

it is beter to adopt good things from others to improve ur self...and this windows 7 looks nice now...and i like it...

One of the things that people say an awful lot about the Apple Mac is that the Operating System (OS) is fantastic, that it's very graphical and easy to use. Windows7 might have used the same formulae, but it's built on that very stable core Vista technology, which is far more stable than the current Mac platform, for instance and much of the new OS remains functionally similar to Vista, for instance relying on a familiar file system. So, I don't think it is made on Mac technology. Rather, it might have taken some ideas from Mac but has been made on the base of Vista technology
