hello Rohit,i too think it is apt to mix the issue of bringing black money along with jan lokpal bill.but stopping corruption is just like giving anti-biotics to infected part to see that viruses will not spread.corruption is a virus and let all of us become anti-biotics along with shri Annaji.

We have been talking about man day losses due to strikes, power failures, machinery break downs non availability of fuels and raw materials. How about man day losses due to the present struggle. I wish our struggle should be on 100% voting, make people understand why they should vote and whom they should vote. Control the person whom we have voted after election and so on. If we do that corruption will stop automatically. Even after we have JA LOKPAL bill the way we we want it will not stop corruption. It will increase our expenses for conducting investigations punishing the corrupt and it will give business to Lawyers who will fight on behalf of the corrupt and on behalf of those who try to expose the corrupt and so on. Unless we elect proper person and do not let him dance to the tune of his party bosses we cannot eradicate corruption in this country.

The Govt. attitude is not correct right from the beginning of this movement. They wanted to play down the movement and the agitators and resorted mud slinging. This made the other party to act tough to mend them. This strategy worked and the Govt. is now seems to coming to terms. Nobody need to worry about the agitations, since there is no incident of violence.

Exactly Mr. Srinivas, like you i do support this cause but we have to be practical, Anna's movement is allright but without a doubt he is not looking to co operate at all. No body wants to see corruption but still people like us initiate such acts in our daily life (like paying bribes to govt. deptt. to police etc.etc which exists in everybody life but in different ways). We need to be practical unlike anna and reach upto some extent(atleast at this point of time when the nation started raising their voice). There must be a system a procedure to proceed and to get results what we want! showing stubbornness and start agitation all over the country is not going to help but effecting the nation productivity and progress also sending a wrong message to the world! believe me every true citizen will be happy if this agitation comes to a positive end soon and that is possible if both parties involved comes to a mutual agreement. I do support your concern! regards Rohit.

I am sorry Mr. Rohit, I contradict with the caption here. These activists are truly reflecting the mood of the majority of the public of this nation and hence the support they are gaining. Only a few are contradicting having their leanings. Those who are against this campaign are nothing but supporting the corruption. Mr. Muralidharan categorically given the position of Swiss Bank accounts.  The future generations will be benefited if the corruption is eradicated from this land at least from now onwards. Ofcourse I dont believe that Jan Lokpal Bill is the only weapon that could  eradicate this menace. But, it is undoubtedly a forward step in that direction.

Rohit ji, thanks for initiating this debate. Getting back the stashed away funds abroad was discussed in the Rajya Sabha on 17th August. If you analyse the technicalities of getting the funds back in to this country, it has become nearly impossible to even imagine such thing in our wildest dream. Ram Jethmalani, MP, Rajya Sabha in reply to PM's statement on 17th August said: "The PM proudly stated to the public and the nation that he has signed the UN anticorruption treaty but what he did not say was they gave a signed document to the Swiss Bank that NO INFORMATION BEFORE APRIL 2011 will be sought and only information after April 2011 will be sought." He also added, "We have to kiss the feet of the Germans.. why... the German govt paid a huge amount of money to a siwss banker (now ex swiss banker) who gave the entire list to the German Govt.. the entire list of all citizens (or can we call them dacoits?) to the German Govt and the German Govt in turn told India ask us for it we will give it to you... for free, with no obligations but our GOVT did not ask for it... they are declining the SIT too." This is the real position with regard to black money stashed away. Therefore, it is difficult to look at things from retrospective effect. At least, from now on, even if we get a proper control and accountability from the persons who govern this country, our future would be saved!

I wonder where are we heading and do we realize that we are motivated or misled by these agitations?
