The environment matters most on the job. We can take countless salary, but if the environment is not good, then we can not give our best in job. If the environment is cool and in favor of the employees, then don't take care of the salary, they love company and give their 100%.

job environment is play the role like a motivator for the person. it motivates the employees to do the work with the full interest and full envolvement in the job. then even howmuch the person can earn he feels happy as he got such environment who appreciate the job or task which have done by you.even if you will do tough task but your subordinate not appreciate you and consider your importance in the organisation it is worthless to earn huge money.

During initial periods of career salary is definitely more important because my negotiating base in case of job change is higher. In case of poor environment one could switch jobs which can be blessing in disguise as every job change gets me some salary increase. However, in later stages of career good environment is eqally important if not more so.

its good think more of work environment once you become good salaried, but for once who are not, good salary certainly is more imp. Also the belief is there "when one is getting good salary he is in good work environment." it maybe a decision to make, be happy first 29 days or the last day of month when salary is deposited.

No doubt work ambiance is integral to performance and in climbing ladder of hierarchy in an organization, however, the importance of money and handsome pay package can’t be sidelined. Many a times it’s the pay package that motivates workforce in putting their best foot forward. In today’s era, where performance matters, weighing it with appropriate CTC can only help in retaining the talent but attrition. Imagine a situation where performer is not recognized and he/she switches to another organization, where fat package is offered, similar situations are very much on the rise in corporate world. And those who say it is the ambiance that matters if they are offered hefty rise in pay package, I am very much sure, they will think twice before bypassing it. At the end of the day it is the money that matters. Offer me hefty rise, I m willing to switch from my present employer, Exxova. Here ambiance is terrific but you need money to compensate your skills.
