Yes its right there is no problem in that....the only risk is of job security for a particular project.I think its best for freshers but for experiences and married employees on-roll job is better.

basing on today's market conditions most jobs will be on contracting positions rather than fulltime positions. as todays companies are driven by share holders and they are more of profit oriented.

i feel having a contract with some company is like keeping urself in a locker for that contract period and what if an oppurtunity, very good oppurtunity, ur dream job knock ur doors but shit i am on contract with some company..then what ur going to do. what after end of that contract, u will again start job search. its good if u get but if u don't think if recession like what came in 2008 oct. what will be ur mental situation their...... think. job security will only come when ur loyal, workafficient and focused to ur job. unless u dont show this attitude any company big or small will kick u off the doors. contact r for such kind of person who dont wanna work but on the same time want to have job in their hands. contract job will kill ur personal life, family life and also socal life. so please think on what i said and doo reply. may be i am wrong please correct me ............................

Three-fourth of India's industry is unorganized where child labour and contract labour defying all contract labour rules is rampant. Therefore, we first need to organize our house before we can hire employees on contract with the much needed safety net of ESI, PF, Insurance, etc that can assure the individual of secure future.

No, It somewhere creates instability in one's mind about the future. Your mind always remain in suspicion and you will not be able to excel fully. Moreover this is also not good for the employer also since the level of commitment is always low than a person on regular pay roll. People on contract see there short term goal in the company and tries to get the maximum during the period. However for IT sector the way people are jumping from one way to the other I feel their act has made companies think for a contract option in which they are also knowing when this person is going out. In case they require they increase their package and retain them. For else they are burden free. Secondly working for a good company is always desirable but working in a small company and contributing for a high achievement is always recommended. Jai Hind Santosh Sinha
