In my opinion a job switch is a step for a better career health. In today's fast growing and corporate environment, even if you spend several years in the same field you might not be able to obtain all the skills, on the other option if you fix a proper time period for your self on switching a job, you will see that your knowledge and skills are much better then the person who are sticking with the same job. The change always gives better future and knowledge.

as u switch so do u obtain more skills, widen ur knowledge and skills. a new perspective is added and with all these obviously financial prospect is auto enhanced

there is always a saturation in the learning curve traced at a particular post and in a particular culture of the organization...so better to switch...

Can't agree more,that is only the reason people look out to explore even if when they are getting appraisals frequently because after a period of time the work become monotonous.

Practically speaking, there are two phases 1. You Work For Money 2. Money Works For You. Let me explain it; At our start of career we look for job with good responsibility, money is not concern because we are at start of our career. After getting great experience he think to change his job, i.e. ready for new responsibility. A person with 4lac/year will not change his job to 3 or 3.5lacs/year. It should be more than 4 i.e. 4.75, 5, so on. That is 1st Phase You Work For Money. In Second phase, with a great experience with various responsibilities; even if he/she thinks to change his current job, money works for you here i.e. you tell it, they give it. That means change in the job periodically support financial health.
