Jobs or Careers – Which one is better ?

No career-No Job.For some job means going to office or factory; having tea twice & lunch once a day & coming back home in the evening. For others unless you clearly know what career you are looking for; you will not even know which job to take up. After all job is what I do today but career is the path I want my professional life to take.

Somewhere I agree.. But not completely! You just cannot summarize this by quoting number of hours of work!

It entirely depends on the way you involve yourself in your company. This decides if you deserve a job or a career. I work 9 hours in my company for which I am paid. And another 6 hours for the company.

Creating values and creating money are different things. Values always pays back but it might take time. Everyone wants a career! How many of us do things differently which can make their BEST career? 

Career is very important and at the same time one should have job/business also and without which career can not be developed. Job or business or any other profession are the platform to foster one's career..

For a semi-skilled or skilled personnel Job is important where as, for a Professional, Career is much desired

Yes, 100% true fact. career & job go hand to hand because both are interconnected. But I still couldn't understand that what is job meant for where its a part of career ?

In Marketing terms, Job is like a Sales part & Career is same as whole Marketing which meant for initial planning before sales ( Job) and managing overall efforts after sales ( Evaluation of job towards career).

I am sorry, if i hurt u personally I don't mean that but as in general, we don't tell them our goals and strengths that's y they prefer something that they feel better for you.

I agree with Anand. Career planning leads to long term growth. It gives direction to an individual.

but going to choose any career without planning, is just a desire and about family support is concern, had you share your interest & planning plan as well as reasons to choose that line as a career ?

I am agree that a job can be a helpful source to built up your career but before going in to job, you have to decide that where you want to go and should go or not that whats called a initial stage of career.
