The persons who are supporting nuclear family they are considering only short term benifits like freedom , privacy etc but they are neglecting other factors. At work place we talk about teamwork , collective actions co-operations, flexibility , adjustable etc and organisations organise various camps to make there employees learn these things. but a person living in joint family automaticly learn all these things.........So I support joint family

Yes Sameer the value systems are changing thick and fast with the changing world. I think joint family as of now almost non-existent in our country. But those days were excellent and will probably not return.

JOINT FAMILY has no match.Children or husband and wife are constantly monitored, guided, appreciated, corrected, prevented, appreciated, supported and what not.with elders staying with you you get lot of moral support you are able to share their experiences and decide things fast in consultation with them.children get their cousins, and extra affection from grannies, uncles and aunties.

Joint Family system is a good option as support and guidance is available from the elders. However, due to mobility and other factors like independence, issues with elders, etc. many people are opting for the nuclear family. However, depending on one's circumstances, the appropriate option is opted by the individual. Thanks for the referral, Sameer....

joint family is always the best as it gives you scolding from elders with affection , you will get love of uncle ,ant, grand pa ,grand maa and you tend to leran different things from different members. joint family is the best one. now a days due job at different places and difference in openion has spoiled the concept and thought of young generation.they want to feel free without elders but plenty of times they miss them.

Every view should be honored & should read carefully before coming to any conclusion. Joint family is good but is it possible for a software engineer to live with it's parents who are staying @ remote village/town which is away from metros?

Dear Sameer, Please check your subject of debate before posting it. This topic is discussed so many times on this platform. This is just to request you that I am on this side. Hope you take this comment in right/positive manner, as I already gave my view to joint family in previous debate.
