When u do a good job which is being appreciated by employer or higher authority,obviously u get more work and resposibility.But that work or the responsibility give u satisfaction bcoz of the appreciation u got.Never giveup responsibility bcoz that is the way of success.

No not at all that you will get more responsibility. But you will get good image in mind of organization, other collegues, and you prooved that you are able to do special work as given to you. So never think like that. But As you will grow, your responsibility also will rise.

:) Nice Debate Ken "You have done a good job" If my manager or some of my superiors says this to me i feel proud ,appreciated,motivated in positive way i don't feel they will give me lot of work load.And all employee need this boast often it will increase our energy to work.
