Swpna There is very much difference in pornographic and kamsutra. Kamsutra teaches us that how the person should maintain his marital sex life in a spritiual manner. But Pornography is totally based on wrong sex methods. Also Kamsutra gives the importance of both body and soul. While Porno contents are totally based on body. Kamsutra talks about love and porno contents talks about sex only.

We are a hypocritical society at best. We always try to advise others but when it comes to our own selves we fail to follow the rules. An open discussion will always benefit society in a way that reservation and shyness is lost and invisible barriers amongst men and women will be broken. Probably people dont want this to happen. Women will be a lot safer in society when books like the kamasutra is openly available and sex education is treated seriously as a subject in schools. It would help people shed their inhibtions and satiate their curiosity of the opposite sex. When something becomes easily available, it will stop to interest you after some time.

why all the fuss! Simple principle eat the chicken and leave the bones. Every document, article , note has views of the author. It is upto us how we look at it. We must accept the fact that the book is a learning document in a most intimate pleasures and given us an insight how we may enjoy fulfillment. Why berate it?----

Sex is a "need" like food. I once read in a paper, a guy in Gujarat was so frustrated that he chopped off his penis simply because he couldn't had sex, didn't find anyone to have sex with...sounds hilarious but i feel pity for him and I can only blame the society and our Indian way of thinking pertaining to "SEX"...:D

Absolutely Yes. Sex is natural , sex is good , and sex is fun. The fundamental point about sex is that it should be engaged in only when both partners want it. It is the India of today which has made sex unclean. And they justify it by saying it is against tradition and culture. Pre-marital sex is totally different from adultery. Adultery is against the moral code of ancient India as well as modern India. Adultery breaks a commitment made at the time of marriage. There is absolutely nothing vulgar about the Kama Sutra. I would suggest that it be made required reading for all youngsters , both male and female , so that they form a wholesome view of sex , and carry over that wholesomeness into their marriages too.

Yes,we become selective about tradition only when it suits us, patriarchical attitudes, suppression of female sexuality is the subliminal underlying theme of those calling such things vulgar or against tradition.Hence this problem

I simply enjoy the sex & sexual act. Simply put on by the sexy woman. God definitely created us to enjoy the other. Therefore, I also maintain myself fit for the act. Surely, sex is God's passionate plan in the entire human creation. Yes, I surely think so. It is the human mind which is corrupt & esp in India, even celebrating valentine day is condemned. In India Sex is dirty & condemned but Corruption & other evil deeds, encouraged! That why we are lagging behind!
