Katrina Kaif's statement about Rahul Gandhi

Everyone in India who knows Rahul Gandhi knows Katrina Kaif too. The reaon is both are personalities of their own feilds. Katrina is asked about her nationality so many times that she got fed up and at once said "IF I am half Indian Rahul Gandhi too is the same!". This statement ahs provoked Congress and Katrina had to apologize for her statement.

Is it right ? Did she need to apologize?

What she said was 100% correct. There was nothign wrong and political party saying "Who is she? Tomorrow you will ask us to comment on Johnny Lever's statement. The status of politics has not gone that low" is a rude reply. How do they think they have higher status. There statement is insult to Johnny Lever as well but I am sure he has not gone that low that he will say anything to the party.

Personal is personal. Next comes these glamour world who look very beautiful and attractive from far off but is the ugliest if got into. Realized Indian rules and regulations are not that stringent, as anyone comes and attains Indian brand and citizen.There is a loop hole in our system too. Kaitrina and others do it for media coverage and stunt to draw public support and sympathy so did she.Merely saying favourite word "sorry" is serves every purpose then say anything and say sorry. Getting down to streets or derogatory language and criticizing this way will give nothing to both these HALF INDIANS and that they too know. They are there where they need to listen too much from others may be public or well wishers. Let politics be politics, personal be personal and glamour world be glamour world.

If both are half-indians, I think both should get married to give us a full Indian who can either be a star politician or a political bollywood star. That would be a great nuptial decision that would benefit India.

There are no full, half or quarter Indians here. If you are an Indian, you are Indian. There is no need for katrina to shoot her mouth off or for that matter any political party to decide who is an Indian and who is not.

Anyone statement which cause some uncomfort to common man or mass of the people, nothing wrong in saying Sorry. She is good atleast said sorry. Raj Thakre, Rahul Gandhi, Digvijay Singh and many other politicians never say sorry for their mistakes.

why is such a big issue being raised on this? What she said was biologically correct but again, the one lady in question is a naturalised Indian Citizen. That definitely needs to carry some positive marks.

Thogh the statement is not liking of congress party workers, but is nothing but fact, so it is up to her to appologies or not.

I dont see anything wrong in it. I can also understand worry of the congressmen. Lol. Who they are to ask her "Who is she". When "Anna" raised questions on "Jan Lokpal Bill" they question him the same question - Who is he? Let them know who they are to ask such questions. They were given power to rule for a specific period by the people of this country. People are the masters in a democratic country. Are they questioning the rights of the people?
