According to me "If there will be knowledge then you will be able to have some experience. And without experience there is no value of your gained knowledge"

Knowledge is the first thing, experience helps it to understand better the knowledge acquired in the practical world accordingly modifications take place and sharing of the knowledge and the experience strengthens the foundations and reinforces the knowledge with experience.

The preference of these entity depends on the Purpose of application. Example, an experienced auto mechanic who learned the skills purely through associating one-self / involving in the particular jobs is preferred to repair an Auto whereas to elucidate a research theory we look for a scholar / knowledgeable person (one who earned experience through education). Hope I clear my point. The application part decides what is needed. I preferred ," Knowledge" here. Because, it can be, easily, obtained through Good Education & a large number of people can acquire it, if they desire to do so. Whereas, the experience is not so. Either, you need the skill or the knowledge.

There is always its a great challenge for freshers to enter into corporate because there is corporates look for the experienced hands. If they are open only to experienced how the student who is just step out from the college will have an opportunity to use his skills? its very important to go analyse ones talent rather than sticking to experience.......all youngsters has a great skill that can go beyond the experienced within a short span of time.Importance for knowledge is greater not for experience!!!!!

An inventor can invent the new things through different experiences. Knowledge gained by experience shows the originality in work. There was no knowledge with Scientist James Watt in his childhood when he made his maid to eat insects thinking that she could fly after that. But when she got illness he realised through this experience. He became the great inventor of Steam Engine after getting knowledge through his experience of observing tea making pot.

Experience makes knowledge & Knowledge makes experience. After taking birth the first thing which comes to any person is experience. After getting experience it starts storing knowledge based on its experience. The stored knowledge gives way to experience more things & obviously getting more knowledge after that. In Mahabharata Eklavya got no teacher but became good archer due to his self experience. But Arjuna was also a good archer as he got best knowledge from guru Drona. So knowledge paves the way to get things done & experience after that and obviously getting new knowledge from new experience.

I believe this is a false distinction and comes out of a long tradition called enlightenment. The ideals of enlightenment was to create good scientific knowledge by preferring - written knowledge over other kinds of knowledge especially spoken language - universally applicabale over applicable in certain circumstance - eternal knowledge over knowledge that grow old with time - words and concepts that are used to describe the existing world over words and concepts that creates new worlds and get their meaning from the use they are put to Experience is the only way human beings can know anything. It is also the only effective way to learn things. Today knowledge is created by artificial and real experience. Artificial experience is also known by the concept of simulators. Do you prefer to fly with a pilot, who knows how to fly or with an experienced pilot?

Undoubtedly say that knowledge and experience will go hand in hand. This is like husband and wife.. Experience is gained through knowledge and knowledge will in turn drive you further more to gain experience so how can you say which is better. Its like the old riddle of egg or chicken. Its inseparable. So, I would say both of them together will lead to success....it cant be only knowledge or only experience....

Both are directly proportional to each other. Its difficult to take a side. We need basic knowledge to enter a job and gain experience and in turn that experience gives you knowledge.
