I essentially support this because no matter how honest a person is, power corrupts. Very exceptional people can abstain from being tantalized by it. Then least of all any party consisting of hundreds of members (Top to Down).

I think every one is aware that the chances of a lasting government being formed by any of today's parties other than the Congress is marginal. What we need today is another party that can carry the majority of Indians together for 5 year. This will keep both Congress and the other party on tenterhooks, and give the aam admi the scope to boot out either of the two if they do not perform.

Murthy Sir the issue need not be then restricted to corruption related issues alone. It can be for being slave to any issue that harms our country. That is why I feel the Lok pal and other such committees and bills of like are merely rudderless vehicles that will loose track in due course. Corruption and other defeatist matters are interconnected and cannot be solved by a Lok Pal or a honest Prime Minister. We got to have 2 centrist parties vying with each other to appeal to the masses that they are working for god of the nation.

And Gurleenji, I do agree with you that we already have many parties, majority of them mere shams. But I believe that if we get two centrist parties, the others will slowly disappear as the natas  & aam admi in particular  will have a choice.

Its better to focus on the real objectives of governance, we already have infinite number of parties but most of them are opportunist. They wish to sit in the lap of the biggest party or the most favoured party so that they can act like catalyst in forming government.

Vinoyji, I have expressed my opinion on Lokpal Bill on this site. It will meet the fate of Womens' Reservation Bill, which is introduced 20 years back and is yet to see the light of the day. We have laws that are in existance to stop corruption. Only issue is we dont use them till SC intervens. We need a Govt with a 'will to work for the masses' and a 'committment' towards the goal.

We are in need of a completely independent and non-corrupt party desperately. I feel that it is the very need of this hour is a political party out of common people. That will represent the common mass and then only we will witness the growth and prosperity. This is enough of prototype partying now we need to break the glass and create a party with completely different ideology and working pattern.

Thank you Vinoy for the referral. I support your side of argument. We are fed up with Congress and BJP. What we need is a good party that can translate the dreams of a common man into reality.

Being a vast country with teeming millions of varied cultures, religions and caste, India needs a party that is middle-off to run the country. India does not presently have any such party other than the Congress to rule the country without creating divisions in the society.

Congress seems to have a monopoly because of it. This is the tragedy of Indian politics today, not Nehru Gandhi family, the Muslim , the Hindu or Christian.

No, we don't need such a party. What happened to candidates like Meera Sanyal,Capt:Gopinath etc in 2009 loksabha elections is known to everybody. So, what is the voter trying to say - The voter says " We maybe on toostep, we maybe fed up with INC and BJP, but if we are given a chance to choose a third alternative like Meera Sanyaal, we will show our true color, that is, we have first class hipocrites.

REMOVE FAKE GANDHIS

There are at least 10 Crore people in India, who are more capable, educated, experienced & Patriotic that these Fake Gandhis

Starting from Indira to Sanjay to Rajiv to Sonia to Priyanka to Rahul nobody falls in the Category of Educated & Intellectual Class, they are either below Graduate or somehow Graduate......

Like Nehru was Imposed on us in place of Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel, Indira was also imposed on us by the Puppets in Congress

Rajiv came through back door (Sympathy Wave) - He was the foollest & the most Corrupt of all Fake Gandhis

Sonia (Antonio Maino) is a total Fraud, but presently the Rajmata..........

Priyanka & Rahuls are two Kids, promoted by Doggy Raja & others........

In my opinion Amish, Sumanta Sahu, Nagesh Rao, Gurleen Kaur, Mohan Murari, S. Muralidharan & Raju V P, Vrushank Dave & Ajay Khaitan (Me Included) etc ....... are much more qualified & knowledgeable than these Fake Gandhis.............

Keep writing....... Keep fighting......... against these Corrupt,  Cruel, heartless & Coward Congress... till they are removed from

They are so cruel, they have no shame in attacking 1 Lac peaceful People while sleeping..... they are more Cruel than Ravan, Kansh, Hiranyakashyap, Hiranakshya & other Daityas & Rakshas

we already have 'n' number of parties, we dont wish to be a party rich country we want to be a developed country. All the small parties of similar view should merge rather than forming another party. Everyday a new party is formed what difference it has made till now? Lets have 3-4 big parties with clear cut manifesto and objective so that voters should not be fooled again and again.

Theoretically, You are right Gurleen! But unfortunately in practical governance many factors act as a hindrance - a wall. I believe that the attitude of the the averge Indian of dividing ourselves into sections is the the most troublesome.

Corruption, dynastic rule, etc can be tackled later. Practically we got to have at least two party that can make all sections of the country feel comfortable. It could be for the ideal antidote for most ills of our political landscape.

But many a times I do wonder if it is possible, given the divisions in our society based on caste, religion, south-north, language and what not. We really act silly and then blame Pakistan, American Imperialism and what not. The revolution needs to start here -  to be accountable to ourselves.

In the present scenario i dont see any chance of a strong third front. If the current parties are refined and corrupt people are removed and brought to justice the existing parties can act as good. New number of parties would only confuse the voters who are not so educated in India and educated people dont spare time for voting.

We can change India with or without Baba Ramdev & Anna Hazare

There are only few problems

1. We are not united / Unanimous

2. We are not taking the Lead

3. We are egoistic & always fighting

4. Not really interested in Solutions

5. Always blaming others

6. Hatred of any kind

Solutions

1. Honesty

2. Love / Respect

3. Truthfulness

4. Faith / Trust

5. Perseverance

6. Determination
