We all know what happened 17 years ago. On 6 December 1992, Babri mosque was demolished by VHP. Today morning BJP and Congress clashed over the findings of the Liberhan Commission, which is believed to have indicted senior Justice M S Liberhan, who submitted his findings to the government on June 30, this year after an inquiry lasting nearly 17 years, has called the BJP leaders "pseudo-moderates", according to a newspaper report. The report also claimed that the entire build-up to the demolition was meticulously planned and there was nothing to show that these leaders were either unaware of what was going on or innocent of any wrongdoing

.The image “http://reasonforliberty.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/babri-masjid1.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. The image “http://sasw.chass.ncsu.edu/fl/faculty/taj/hindi/babpica.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

BJP is demanding suspension of question hour in both Houses of Parliament in protest against the "selective leaks" of the Liberhan Commission report on Babri Masjid demolition. The Commission was set up 10 days after the demolition as communal riots rocked several parts of the country. After 17 years and 48 extensions, it submitted its report on June 30 this year. It is learnt that among others indicted and found culpable - for what the Commission calls pushing the nation to the brink of communal discord - are the entire top brass of the Sangh Parivar. These include the leaderships of the RSS, VHP and Shiv Sena.

So, would you agree with this report?

I don't agree with this report. If it was really submitted in June 30, why it was not published till now? and as BJP itself said, the report contains "Selective links" so there is a possibility of many modifications. On that, the contry is currently ruled by Congress which is prime rival of BJP. Who knows, from June 30 till date, Congress must have done any modification. I don't this this report is 100% impartial.

To say this commission is partial and the other one that indicted the culprits of post Indira Gandhi’s Assasination is correct is absolutely wrong.

Neither party were saint when they felled Babri Maszid or earlier slaughtering the innocent Sikhs, post IG’s killing.

Then, there is no end to this game of constituting commisisons of enquiries which would give their reports after a few decades and then rejecting them to be partial.

We should draw a firm line somewhere or scrap the practice of instituting commissions of enquires at the expense of the tax payers, only to reject their reports later.

Either we have faith in our constitutional processes are abandon the Democracy in favour of cynisim and give up to anarcy.

I agree with this report. This report has been made after doing a research of 17 long years and was blocked till date. Everybody knows BJP was the main mastermind behind the demolishion. There is no reason to deny this report.

It is Ridiculous for the Congress to blame the B.J.P for the popularity of Shri Ram.It is known that crores of people attend Hindu festivals.5 Lakh people answered `JAI SHRI RAM` call on that December day at Ayodhya, and what happened was a spontaneous outburst of their pent up feelings. To call it a conspiracy and blame B.J.P is both naive and insensitive towards the feelings of Hindus.

Yash the question should be why is congress bringing up this report now?, Did BJP bring up the question of 1984 “Mistake” in Rajiv Gandhi rein? What is the game plan of Congress, moreover the ruckus was not made over the report but on the leak that took place in Media by NDTV and Indian Express. It would be interesting to know behind the curtain drama.

As a common man, I do not know for sure what is the content of this particular report, what as a common man I certainly know is that from 1984 to 2002, no political party or politician has been convicted so far for such reasons. So why such hue & cry ?
