This is a limited edition phone, only 1,000 units of this phone will be made. It costs at Rs. 12,990/- and will be available at all leading stores in eight cities across India. The features are almost the same 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320x480 resolution, 3.15 MP camera, 2 GB memory card, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth v2.1, A-GPS and many more special features. The Android OS can be upgraded to v2.3 Gingerbread.

The only addition is that this edition has the World Cup Logo on its back.. With nothing much special than the logo, are they using the dedcation Indians have towards their favourite religion - Cricket as a profit making factor?

Cricket fans by default would be blind to follow anything that has this word "cricket" on it..

As far as these crazy mentality continues, 1000 pieces wouldn't be sufficient..

I think so. Agreed that there are only 1000 units available but then look at the price and why won't one buy another better handset than this one.. But the cricket fans wont be able to think that rationally will they... I have no words..

Price is high so in spite of a cricket followers, all 1000 pieces are not going to get a customer, as Indian fans are not blind follower & come to know the trick done by manufacturer, in no time.
