It is not only a JOKEPAL Bill but it is also a DHOKPAL Bill. Basically these politicians does not want to give up their hold on power & money. It is nothing but an eyewash to pacify people that Govt.has honored its commitment of introducing this JOKepal & DHOKpal Bil in the upcoming session. Thanks Suresh

Unless effective laws are redundant and don't have deterrent effect, In india politicians and corporate lobbyist are preparing bills which protect their interest, nothing is done to protect the economical interest of workers, farmers and middle class population.

Suresh I am afraid I will not be able to support your point of view. Lets wait and watch. Basically the most corrupts are parliament members and they are covered.

I think it is better to have something than nothing. If this bill is going to achieve something, even a little bit, then it is a huge success. Anna Hazare and team is not only over ambitious but is acting extremely naive and incompetent when it comes to such an important bill. They should go step by step rather than trying to achieve(cover everybody under lokpal including PM) everything in one-shot.

Contents of Lokpal bill are being diluted by Governments officials as it not covering P.M.,Mantris,State Governments but it still it can work as a stepping stone for the anti corruption movement. Corrupted Government officials will have to re think before taking Bribe. Now the movement is started against corruption and time will come and every officials will covered by this Law.

It is a blessing for the rural divide to start with. Let him blow the lid off pressure cooker politicians in India. Jahan choolah, wahaan aag!!! He probably has the pulse of the populace in mind.
