If sales are on increase while market share is declining, it is time to redefine what is one's market is?

Look their is a SUPPORT from me in one of the article to Maggi but not here because the indian custmour still after so many year`s of stable market share still indian`s urban,rural area`s still take it as a sapper not a complete food Maggi had tried from maida to wheat but indians like prepaired food noy instant food as a healthy diet.

Clearly maggie has the early bird advantage . Horlicks from time immemorable has been marketed as a drink meant for sick people for speedy recovery . Even in recent times they have started to market it as a health drink it is a long way before they catch up with others. Similarly for foodles though they are taking head on maggie , people know noodles as maggie only , and for the composition part mostly do not give much importance to the ingridients of it

I agree with you, they has a steady market but now its time to diversify. Coz competitors have increased. If they are not going to change maggi will loose its brand identity in the next few years .....

to my opinion if maggi wants mor market share ten only  it required bcoz i dont think horlicsnoodles will affect maggi bcoz it has created a brand where noodles its maggi only thing needed is keep updating the product
