Didi came to power by opposing the Tata's setting up Nano car project by acquiring land from the farmers now the first thing she does calling the Tata's to set up their unit in the already acquired land

I am also of the view that agricultural land should not be acquired for setting up industries. There is plenty of underutilized space available in existing industrial areas at various places in the country that should be consolidated and used for modernizing industry. The Toyota concept better known as Lean Manufacturing aims at elimination of 7 types of waste which include optimization of floor space. Tata should have built the factory in the available 1000 acres at Singrur and not walked away in retaliation. They had several options. They could have planned to get some parts/sub-assemblies sub-contracted or fabricated at their other locations. They could have scaled down production and later established a second assembly unit elsewhere.

Mr.Joydeep thanks for supplying anna bhai right information link.Any one may has the province to say but it must be with right supporting information.Mamtade was only opposing the forcible acquiring of 400 acres of fertilized land not the TATA's for making car factory.Her slogan is "Development of industry and agriculture should run parallely".

She still against forcible acquisition of land.Still she has promised to give back the 400 acres of forcibly acquired land to the poor masses. She is magnaimous in offering the TATAs wvwn though she objected to a full facrtory coming in the 1000 acres of land that was in plan earlier. Tatas had to burn their fingers with such a loss.Yet I think its is not double speak but speak what she meant that could bring in Industry and the people together withour any confict of interest.
