Market to be northwards in the long run says Investments Head of ICICI Prudential Life

Manish Kumar, Head, Investments, ICICI Prudential Life in an interview with ET Now sounded optimistic on the market situation saying that the market is going to be bullish in the long run. He, however, cautioned that the market is currently overvalued. The current valuations are over about 16 times, 12-month forward earnings. He says that since the markets are more than adequately valued, probably in the short term, they are likely to be range bound. However in the long term, the direction is likely to be northwards.

In my opinion its not the right time to predict the market growth. Market is not stable at this point of time. So its difficult to predict now whether the market will move northwards or not.
