Marketing Management has emerged in 21st century as the best strategic management system in creating and developing Business success. We find no contradictory reference for marketing  if we are either concerned to a booming or a recession economy.

Marketing has always been a universal success plan .

But why marketing has failed in current healthcare development (Medical services) ? It would be very hard to find hospitals who have succeeded in their hospital business growth and positive market development through marketing and the question remain why?

The reasons attributed could be many i.e:

a) No clear understanding of local Indian healthcare needs.

b) Failure in recruiting a core Medical marketing Team than conveniently         recruiting media savvy advertising team.

c) In-adequate Healthcare market research and fact finding work for local       and comprehensive healthcare demands.

d) In-adequate coordination between the medical and marketing team(Policy to Execution).

e) Lack of Innovation in launching better and market savvy heathcare plans and packages.

f) Failure to connect to the masses than creating a USP identity.

g) More efforts in creating a unique Brand and retention level than creating a strong communication chain.

f) Failure to understand local market and the poor financial back-up.

Current failures are only due to the acceptance of people to take healthcare as a solitary healthcare practice which is changing very fast and slowly due to a very high involvement of financial sector this will transform to a totally new dimension.

Yes I agree with you, but the demand started increasing. So if you know how to market a healthcare product you will find big business in the future.
