Mythili what you said may be true for earlier times but nowadays you need an MBA to shine in the industries. You need to develop lot of strategies and reports to manage and control todays industries. A person with MBA will do this more effectively than a person with experience. :)

but i believe MBA is an education, education is learning to learn, education brings the desired change in us and in the surrounding society,so how can we neglect the MBA for the sake of experience without an education how we ll be able to face this competitive world,i dont say experience is not required for person to be success, but if a person has right knowledge and skills learned while studying y cant he touch S.

I strongly feel that, experience is runs along with time. You just cant wait to become old to become management person. But, MBA is nothing but enhancing your skill towards better presentations, mistakes and learning, and advancement in thinking. still an MBA has to pursuaded atleast with an experience of 4~5 yrs to look through your theory into application.

MBA courses are a way to inject years of experience in a package for the Young Graduates, so that they do not have to wait for years to gain the knowledge. However, nothing can beat the real Experience. Afterall Management is not just science it is an art as well, which comes only with years of hard work and personal experiences.

I agree that experience surely matters and it makes you learn from your mistakes to not to repeat in the future. But MBA has its own imporatnce...it enriches you with the analytical power, presentation & communication skills and many other things. And if one has both of these then it will surely be an advantage over others.

i agree with you manoj, experience is what counts, you cant be taught any where, or no course gives you that experience which is very important to get into any industry, so than MBA its experience what counts and nothing else..
