Wow. The observation of Mr.Muralidharan is stupendous. I too gone through the message of Mr. Deepu but I failed to observe the mistake. But, Mr. Murali caught it. People talk about gender discrimination according to their convenience. I have not find any such discrimination particularly in today's MNC culture. Irrespective of the gender one who has the ability to manage can become a good manager. No doubt about. It depends on the personality. We have seen iron ladies like Madam Thatcher, Indira Gandhi and the like. Ability is the quality, gender has no meaning.

It is not that men CAN and women CANT.. Its how the society views now. Women are getting up and are doing their chores to perfection and still we dont allow them to climb heights. They are equally talented and they can be a GOOD MANAGER as well..

Gender really doesn't matter, both men and women are equally capable of managing a project or running an organization. There are no inborn genes in either of the genders, one has to be trained and should have experience. In India(which is a male dominated society), the opportunities for women (as a manager) has risen only recently, still it is too little. Though the west, particularly the United States have more women managers than India, they are still not confident in giving the post of the President of United states to a women. There are plenty of managerial positions/jobs around the world and in India which are kind of 'closed/no-entry' for women. e.g. chief of intelligence agencies, chief of armed forces etc for various reasons most of which are sometimes stupid.

Thanks for referral Ms. Kiriti Das . I agree with you. Gender is not a barrier for an aspiring individual to acquire the best managerial skills. Now-a-days , top positions are offered to Women. See the president Mrs Prathiba Patil, Mrs Sheila Dixit, CM, Delhi. Mrs Ambika Soni, IB Minister etc. Hardly it matters the sexual discrimination. What matters is the ability to win over & manage bodies efficiently. It is all the managerial skill teach you.

It really does not matter man or woman and at this point you might not have choice as well. all that matters is how good are you at your work and how can you fulfill the requirement.. Please justify your views..
