The expedition of petroleum mining in the coastal regions of konkan, i,e in cochin and goan coasts is going on. If the petroleum is found out there should we start using it now?

currently if we look at the petroleum costs per barrel, its comparetively on a lower side, and more over when the world economy recovers from recession it may rise so it will be better to buy the oil now for lower costs. and to use the reserves when the oil prices is soo high and when it becomes unbearable by the governments to provide the subsiddies.

U are right Mridul,but it will take time till then ur argument is quite acceptable,I only one month back wrote about the availability of this oil and at that time faced opposition and kept quite.that time also news was based on some ground.

First we have to ascertain the quantity available there.. before we decide to use it or not....If we are getting uninteruppted supply,, then why to use it, keep it as a reserve....
