MobileMesh is cheaper and running on a more available frequency....which adds intereference and downtime to the equation whereas WiMax provides a better QOS. It's a hard trade-off to swallow.....

My professional one is this: WiMax is licensed and will only be available to those who can buy licensed spectrum costing thousands to billions based on how much the planet can auction off the airwaves for, and not available for 99.99 percent of companies or thier pocket books.

MobileMesh(tm) is cheap to deploy, and runs on several unlicensed bands of the same airwaves.
