You are talking here of consumption of time to reach a place but do you really know the fact that the size of metro cities has gone double fold from the past three years and the traffic created by local vehicles has also increased if it would not be private vehicles it would be public vehicles on road.

I agree to it this would give more revenue to govt. and talking about the import of technology would also help in an increase.

You have a house, do you keep on adding families to it, just b'coz more people mean more money? No not at all. We plan, look for and annex, options and feasibility of each one of them, if things doesn't work out, we say no. So, say no.

No, There should not be more cars in road. In cities, there is a hell of traffic due to more number of cars and it really creates more vehicles in less space. theĀ  space efficiency for car (Ratio of no of people:Space occupied by vehicle) is very low for car compare with 2 wheeler. It is highest for bus. hence its better more people use bus or 2 wheeler so that traffic in cities can be something under control. Most of cars is being used for 1 person or 2 in cities pose is the point to be noted.

I don't find it as a better option. More the cars more consumption of fuel. More traffic on roads. More the consumption of time to reach a place.

Companies are entering into small cars segment to make it avaiable for people who cannot afford premium cars, but this will lead to overusage of fuel. Over crowding will also become a problem.
