Motorola debuts Xoom tablet at CES.........

The most promising iPad competitor at CES may be Motorola's Xoom, but it's a little too soon to write that in pen instead of pencil.  A quick tour of this Android tablet computer features outlined what could make it an effective rival to Apple's bestseller.

Xoom offers a slightly larger screen than the iPad, at 10.1 inches versus the Apple tablet's 9.7, and with a higher 1280-by-720 pixel resolution than the iPad's 1024-by-768 resolution. It includes both a 2-megapixel camera on the front and a 5-MP camera on the back, combined with Google's own Google Talk video-calling software built in. That should be a step up from the third-party applications and services bundled by other vendors.  Will this Motorola Xoom give a stiff competition to Apple ipad?

yes....xoom is making too much of news before its release at Consumer electronics show (CES) its software... it runs the 3.0 version of Android, nicknamed "Honeycomb" by Google, which is the first version written with tablets in mind, which no other tablet has having it at the moment, and people are saying even ipad can't match this. Hence it depends on the price and with good features at hand xoom should do really well...seeing so many tablets at the moment, 2011 will be the year of tablets for sure. Apple ipad is in for a sure surprise.

whether the  competitors product is good and branded but product having all latest features with low price and reliability features will always capture market and once it capture few percent of market it can improve the percentage of market against competitor company

world like test and use on individuals & professional team basis

so it can easily grow ........................

Presence of Honeycomb, itself makes tablet special.Then the dual core processor, and adequate display size, everything seems just perfect.

This is going to be my first tablet.

I THINK IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME FOR MOTOROLA TO COPE UP WITH APPLE, OF COURSE MOTOROLA MAY HAVE GOOD FEATURES WHEN COMPARED TO APPLE, AND PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY USED TO APPLE IPOD, SO IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES ITS REALLY VERY HARD TO SAY, WILL MOTOROLA BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH APPLE OR WONT IT BE, BECAUSE THE QUALITY IS EXPRESSED ONLY IF THAT PARTICULAR GADGET IS USED BY THE PUBLIC, EITHER MERITS OR DEMERITS. HENCE, I CONCLUDE THAT IT WILL DEFINITELY TAKE SOME TIME FOR MOTOROLA TO FACE PROS AND CONS BY THE PEOPLE.

Although Motorola has come up with gadget with high on features with respect to it’s competitors, most of the people are now a days preferring Apple/Dell tablets due to user friendliness. It will some time for Motorola to cope with the same & grabbing the customers from other end.
