It’s the type of living that individual lives, compared to the people who sleeps on footpath, we people and our shopping is also not justifiable so does that mean we should stop shopping?
No, it’s not Mukesh Ambani who should think of the scenario it’s our government who should take care all of these. Ambani’s are just spending from their earning just like us. Had our income like them our bill also might have been like that.
Yes, he have that much money to spend, & he is not that type of man like his father who at least knows about social responsibility & done some work. But for Mukesh it is only business & the reason for this show off. By

first mukesh ambani pays it in time and he does it through his own earnings today looking at him just imagine he has to show of for the business he does he is among the top 10 richest persons and its not that easy so just bluffing on ambani is easy why dont you talk of your mps not paying the rents, phone bills etc they are using our money as long as ambani pays its ok since any sindhi business man can never ever spend a single paisa unless and until he has profit in it By

Well We should not talk about lavishness. We should talk is it the need of him that he consume so much power. If it is the need of him and he follow all the rule and regulations, pay properly then it can not be said lavishness. I think the business people like mukesh will not so irresponsible so that they will consume so much electricity beyond their need. if they will do so how they can manager their business. By

Consider this scenario - Mr.A walks 3 miles everyday to reach his place of work. He envies all people who has a bicycle and calls it lavish and luxury. Mr.B who owns a cycle tells that scooter is a luxury. Mr.C who owns a scooter calls Mr.D who owns a Maruti Alto as a rich bastard. Mr.D. calls Mr.E's attitude as lavish and luxurious because he owns a BMW. Mr.E says that he is a resposnible man and accuses Mr.F of being lavish because Mr.F does not own a car but has a private jet. Now - who is lavish and who is luxurious?. Honestly - none of these people are lavish and luxurious. If you can afford it, then buy it. By

he has money to burn. bulk of the power will be coming from an inhouse generator. even this 80 L is going to be written off as a tax expense as the house will formally/definitely not be in his name - so even the high power bill is technically a double-whammy for the country: - we lose out on whatever power bses supplies, we lose out on the income tax that he has saved. Yes, i am fully agree with Mr. Srinivas, it is really lavishness, but Mukesh Ambani is not common man, he has money so can establish power plant for his villa... , so he can't understand the value of electricity, there are lots of village in india without power, By

Mukesh Ambani's power bill for the month of September, 2010 is said to be Rs. 80 lakhs (approximately). The power consumption of his lavish villa - YANTILLA is 6,37,240 units for that month. He got a discount of Rs. 48,354/- considering the timely payment of this huge bill. The power consumed is equal to power consumption of 7000 residential houses @ an average consumption of 300 units. If everybody is resorted to such lavish power consumption, I am afraid, common man may not get the power to lit light in his hut. Power to pay shall not be criteria.
People around the work says India is a poor country. I would say India is a rich country with the mots inefficient use of resources by the people of India in wrong sectors. By

While the electric bill of 60 lakhs may be proportional to his income, the bigger question is environmental cost to provide for the comfort of one family (maybe along with its attendants in the home). How many trees are equivalent to feeding that power?
if everyone continues to use electricity this lavishly, it will end in low voltage. The electricity board will be forced to increase charges either to restrict usage or to generate fund for new power plant in order to meet the growing demands. By

Such wastage should not be allowed. The money that he is making is not entirely his effort alone. No one should be allowed to take such share for wasting in a country that already has millions without any power. By

No not at all. This is just to show off. Rich people are stopping India from growing. Money has some value, paying 80 lac for electricity bill is too much. There should be some control over the usage ...
Mr. Vinoy, my point is so clear here. Abetting religious/caste/regional sentiments for party gains is not acceptable and asking someone to cast or not to cast in favour of/against someone is also not acceptable. My reference to "Fatwa" is just an...
